A Sacred Milestone: Consecration & Installation of the Holy Relics
After years of faith, prayer, sacrifice, and the unwavering support of our parish family and our well wishers, a place was bought in Cumming , GA and we built our Church. After years of faith, prayer, sacrifice, and the unwavering support of our parish family and well-wishers, our parish purchased property in Cumming, Georgia, and built a church on a hill dedicated to the glory of God. As our Lord teaches in St. Matthew 5:14, “You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden.” Our church stands on this hill as a visible witness to Christ, serving as a beacon of faith, hope, and love to the surrounding communities. Our Church was solemnly consecrated by His Holiness Moran Mar Baselios Marthoma Mathews III, Catholicos of the East and Malankara Metropolitan, assisted by Diocesan Metropolitan His Grace Dr.Thomas Mar Ivanios , His Grace Dr. Yuhanon Mar Diascoros (Metropolitan of Kottayam Diocese) and His Grace Dr. Joshua Mar Nicodimos (Metropolitan of Nilackal Diocese).. This sacred event established our church as a permanent house of worship dedicated to the glory of God and the service of His people.
This historic celebration was further enriched by the installation of the Holy Relics of St. Gregorios of Parumala and St. Dionysius of Vattasseril, entrusting our parish with two sacred treasures that continue to inspire the faithful and strengthen our spiritual life.
