Welcome to the website of St.Gregorios Indian Orthodox Church in Atlanta, GA.

We belong to the Malankara Orthodox Church of India under the leadership of Catholicos of the East, H.H. Moran Mar Baselios Mar Thoma Paulose II.The Malankara Orthodox Syrian Church was founded by St. Thomas, one of the twelve apostles of Jesus Christ, who came to India in A.D. 52.

Our Patron Saint

Mar Gregorios of Parumala, who is the first canonized saint of Malankara Orthodox Church, is the Patron Saint of our Parish. Our Parish celebrates the Feast day or ‘Perunnal’ on November Second every year which is the day on which Mar Gregorios was called for heavenly abode. learn more
